Allergen warning: We do process wheat/rye/spelt flour on-site, both milling and baking breads, so if you have an anaphylaxic issue with gluten or something where very trace amounts of wheat/spelt/rye could cause you issues, we would not recommend any of our products.

We shouldn’t play favorites, but there’s something about a waffle cookie that gets me every time.

These cookies nod both to the Italian families that run many of our area’s wineries today and the wafers and stroopwafels 17th-century Dutch settlers of the Hudson Valley.

Pizzelle aren’t just for Christmas. Especially when they’re vegan and gluten-free–perfect for the whole family. Nibble on them on their own for a light snack. Pair with ice cream or sorbet for dessert. Top with jam or nut butter for a new take on toast.

Or go full stroopwafel and slater on your favorite caramel-flavored spread and make a sandwich cookie that with rock your snack times.

Ingredients: Gluten-free oats, Billington’s dark Muscovado sugar, Oechsner Farms buckwheat, Golden Valley Flax flax seeds, coconut milk powder (dehydrated organic coconut milk, organic maltodextrin, organic acacia fiber), baking powder, cinnamon, Amagansett Sea Salt sea salt.
