Food for Everyone
We work with the absolute minimum allergens. Almost everything we make is gluten-free, vegan, nut-free, low-sugar, and soy-free. Many of our sourdoughs feature low-gluten ancient grains.
From NYS, For NYS
We're serious about sourcing ingredients for everything we make from New York State. Our jams highlight local honey and maple syrup and our sourdough breads highlight heirloom wheat grown in the Finger Lakes.
Hudson Valley-Focused
Our menu is directly tied to the products grown here in the Hudson Valley, from cold-pressed sunflower oils to native blueberries. We marry the ingredients that have grown here for thousands of years with innovations from the area's food entrepreneaurs of today.
``Single-Origin`` Bread
All of our breads are made the old-fashioned way with sourdough mixed with grains that we buy direct from New York State farmers and mill ourselves just before baking. We use heirloom grains with outsized flavor.
Corn, blueberries, and sunflower seeds of the native Lenape? Highlighting them. Homegrown grains and flax paired with traded spices, sugar, and chocolate of the New Paltz Huguenots and Kingston Dutch? Got them. Roasted butternut seed oil, black currant shrubs, and medicinal teas from today’s pioneering farms and New York food producers? Of course!
Our entire menu is based solely around the foods that grow in our area, from our signature buckwheat blueberry cookies and sunflower flour cakes and brownies to low-gluten sourdough breads that use the best of modern baking know-how to create delightful treats that specifically highlight our unique soil.
We believe in creating food for everyone, so that no matter what your food restrictions or preferences, but gluten-free and vegan food doesn’t need to use exotic ingredients.
You can shop local, support local farmers and food producers, and still eat food that makes you feel your best.
The best part?
These treats are so good, even people who don’t intentionally eat dairy-, gluten-, nut-, or refined sugar-free will fight you for them.
Make sure you get enough for everyone.
